    Microfilter

    Product Review:

Microfilter is a new type of rotating drum screen filtering unit.

It is designed to separate impurities such as fine suspended particles, fibers, grape pomace and pulp from liquids efficiently, providing solid-liquid phase separation. Microfilter is ideal for various solid-liquid separation processes in industrial wastewater and can remove fine particles of 0.25 mm or more diameter from water. It is applicable in paper manufacturing, tanning, slaughtering, printing and dyeing, textile and chemical industries

    Equipment features:

It has space-saving design for a small footprint.

It is of high performance and energy efficient.

It is equipped with automatic backflushing device for stable operation and easy operation.

It is made of 316 stainless steel and advanced corrosion-resistant materials, increasing corrosion resistance, including in seawater.

    Product Advantages

During the design stage, we select the mesh size to suit the specific contaminants in your wastewater treatment plant. Highly precise drum manufacturing eliminates the leakage of untreated water. Our technological solutions allow for compact equipment placement on-site, guaranteeing the required suspended solids levels are met.

    FAQ

What degree of water purification does microfiltration provide compared to conventional screens?

A microfilter captures suspended particles down to a few microns in size, which mechanical screens cannot handle. This is an ideal solution for post-treatment of wastewater before discharge into water bodies or before feeding it to reverse osmosis systems. Given the water shortages in Uzbekistan, this allows water to be recycled into the production cycle.

How does the self-cleaning system of the filter mesh work?

During operation, the micromesh gradually becomes clogged with suspended particles, which is detected by a pressure sensor. The automation activates a backwash system or mechanical brushes without interrupting the filtration process. This ensures a continuous cycle and stable system throughput with minimal backwash water consumption.

How difficult is it to replace a filter element when it wears out?

The design of ASMEX PETROCHEM microfilters allows for replacement of the mesh panels or drum without dismantling the entire system. We use segmented filters, which simplifies maintenance: if one section is damaged, there's no need to replace the entire expensive filter. This significantly reduces the company's operating costs.
