    Cooling units

Air coolers (ACUs) and cooling coils are designed for cooling and condensing gaseous, liquid, and vapor-liquid media in industrial processes in the chemical, petrochemical, oil refining, oil, and gas industries. They can be used for media with pressures from 0.6 to 10 MPa (6-100 kgf/cm²) or under vacuum with a residual pressure of at least 665 Pa, temperatures no higher than 400°C, and outlet viscosity up to 5*10-5. Thermoflow products are designed for operation in harsh conditions, making them suitable for the oil and gas, chemical, and power industries. The design can include air cooling, simplifying maintenance and significantly reducing recirculating water consumption. If necessary, companies can select and purchase cooling units tailored to specific media parameters, flow rates, and operating modes. Their use improves production safety, reduces the thermal load on downstream components, and extends the service life of the equipment.

    Product Advantages

The heat exchange surface is designed to withstand extreme temperature peaks of up to +50°C. Highly accurate fan balancing reduces vibration and noise levels. Our corrosion-resistant tube material technology ensures reliable operation of cooling systems in all industries.

    FAQ

What types of cooling are most effective in the hot climate of Uzbekistan?

In regions with water shortages, we recommend air-cooled cooling units (ACUs). They utilize ambient air and do not require constant water make-up. If temperatures below ambient air temperature are required, shell-and-tube or plate heat exchangers are used in conjunction with chillers or cooling towers.

How can air-cooled cooling units (ACUs) be protected from dust clogging?

Dust storms are a common problem, so our ACUs are equipped with filter screens and automatic section cleaning (blowing) systems. The finned tubes themselves are manufactured with a pitch that minimizes dust clogging, maintaining high heat transfer efficiency even in challenging climates.

How is cooling capacity adjusted during sudden temperature changes between day and night?

The units are equipped with fans with variable frequency drives. The automatic system adjusts the blade speed depending on the product's outlet temperature. This not only maintains a stable process but also significantly saves energy at night and in winter.
